What is the dress code for Wedding Day?

Answer

Formal Cocktail Attire, please! What does that mean? Ladies: Long, midi-length, or nice knee length dresses, structured jumpsuit, or full suit. Gentlemen: Dark Full Suit with dress shoes or blazer with slacks. Tie preferred. Fashion Nopes: White or cream, jeans, sneakers, shorts, polo shirts, mini dresses

What is the dress code for Welcome Party?

Answer

Going Out Casual is not a real category. Please wear whatever you would wear on a casual night out - jeans and a going out top, for instance.

Is this a child-friendly wedding?

Answer

No, both our ceremony and reception are child free. While we love your children, we hope that you will join us for a fun adult-only evening.

Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put your phones on silent and away during the ceremony.

How much time will there be between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be 2 hours between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Feel free to bar/restaurant hop along Water Street or freshen up during that time! There should be plenty of Ubers if walking isn't for you.

Is Transportation Provided To and From the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

We will provide a shuttle from the Hyatt Regency to The Starling leading up to cocktail hour and back to the Hyatt towards the end of the reception. How Far Apart are the Ceremony and Reception Venues?

Answer

The ceremony is hosted at the Society located at 910 N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53203. The reception is hosted at the Starling located at 102 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202. They are a 1.0 mile away, a 5 minute drive, and a 20 minute walk from each other.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 2:30 PM. We ask that you please arrive at least 10 minutes before start time to secure a seat.
