Luke and Megan grew up 2 minutes away from each other in Colorado Springs, CO and went to the same elementary, middle, and high school. However, their paths didn't cross until years later since Luke was a senior when Megan was a freshman. In December 2019, Luke and Megan matched on Hinge (new school way of dating) when Megan recognized Luke, the cute senior basketball player from high school. They went on their first date to a Mexican restaurant in Denver on January 4th, 2020 and have been inseparable ever since.

Luke and Megan went to Oahu, Hawaii to celebrate Luke's big 30th birthday and Megan graduating from occupational therapy grad school. Luke planned a special date night where he took Megan to a private beach called Papa'iloa Beach right at sunset. He walked her down the beach and got down on one knee to ask her to marry him. She of course said, "yes!" They spent the rest of the trip celebrating with friends and now Hawaii holds a very special place in their hearts. We hope to see you in Longmont, Colorado!
