"All of our friends were so excited for Meg and I to be close to each other, because Toronto is in Canada and Seattle is on the Canadian Border (look it up)."

How I know Claire: best pal from graduate school at the University of Toronto. We met while apart of the UofT running club. Claire currently lives in Calgary, AB. Fun fact from Claire: "I love ice cream and have tried every single Dairy Queen blizzard-- Meg and I used to go to DQ at 8pm every Tuesday night and keep in touch largely through Dairy Queen facetime dates :) . "

How I know Emily: an oh so special friend. We met while running on the Forestview HS cross-country team, and went on to be college roommates! Fun fact from Em: "I probably am forever known as Meg's roomie at ASU but proud to say I was the one that dragged Meg to open house at ASU! Convinced her to apply and be my roomie. Sooo if you think about it I am the one who set up the opportunity for Logan and Meg to meet."

How I know Kat: dear friend since Cramerton Middle School! She taught me how to "dance", and the rest is history. Fun fact: she has been skydiving! "I almost talked Meg into going on New Years--we went on a hike instead."

How I know Calee: we met through mutual friends in HS, and bonded through competitively swimming together! Meg's fun fact: I was Calee's loyal 500m freestyle lap counter for 4 years. Fun fact from Cal: "I live in DC with my partner Grant and work in a historic house museum!" Fun fact #2: "I visited Logan's childhood home with Megan the first time she visited! Also, my early nickname for Logan when he and Meg started dating was Mr. Rocks!"

How I know Vic: dare I say my longest friend? We met while playing in the CMS band, and have ran cross-country, track, and have pole-vaulted together! Fun fact from Vic: "Meg and I used to have a very unhealthy relationship with Red Bulls. They were our unspoken love language throughout high school. We would surprise each other with one every week." Fun fact #2 from Vic: "I am Jane and Larry's favorite friend of Meg's (Logan's grandparents).

Logan and Aidan met through Meg/common friends/RUF while at ASU. Meg met Aidan (FIRST) through their RUF smallgroup (they would go to the Boone farmer's market together). Fun fact from Aidan: "I got "deported" from Canada while in high school."

"I met Meg and Logan when my wife (Kate Ezzell) and I were dating in college! Meg and Kate were roommates so I got to see them all the time. Our friendship really took off over the last couple of years. We spend a lot of time playing board games and climbing." "I am also proud to say that I once made a passing comment to Logan that he would look good with a mustache. The next time I saw him after his summer in Montana he had a mustache and told me he grew it out for me. :') I think it looks sexy. That's why he has had a mustache since 2021!"

“I met Logan as a prospective roommate at App State. The first night I met him we went to Sabeing Thai Fusion where he immediately covered his noodles in way, way too much hot sauce and was turning red, sweating and coughing with every bite. He finished the plate despite the pain, in order not to waste food. Ever since I witnessed this Herculean display I knew Logan was capable of anything. We then spent an amazing few years as best buds living together at TAM 3 - homebrewing beer and writing lab reports while rocking out to Masayoshi Takanaka and Pink Floyd. How I miss those days!! Fun fact: Our dear old bachelor pad TAM 3 had been passed down, dude to bro, for a little over ten years on the same lease. Without ever being fully cleaned out. Gnarly!”

Logan and Will met while roommates at ASU! Will lives in Asheville as a journalist with his partner Grace. Fun fact from Will: "Just before we became roommates, Logan and I did the Green Knob Trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Neither of us had checked the weather. I got a thunderstorm warning on my phone, which was followed by a huge thunder crack overheard less than a minute later. We ran for the hills back to our car! We promptly drove to a vintage video game store in Boone afterward. A fun memory!"
