Downtown SLO Farmers' Market
Thursday night farmers' market is one of SLO's signature weekly events! Locals come to sell their food and products! Food trucks and other vendors also attend! If you are in town early, we highly recommend!
High Street | Market & Deli
These are the best sandwiches you will ever have! Located near downtown on High St. they make for the perfect lunch! Make sure you order online ahead as it gets super busy. Our favorite sandwich to order is the Dutch Punch!

One of our favorite restaurants down town! It has delicious cocktails, tacos, and paella!
Flour House
This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants! They have the best home made pizzas! They don’t take reservations so try to put your name in early!
Scout Coffee Co.
The cutest and best go to coffee spot in downtown! They also have a location on Foothill Blvd. closer to the university. Our favorite pastry to get is the Morning Bun :)

Great place to grab a beer downtown! Fun tap room with lots of options!
Central Coast Brewing Higuera Street
One of the best breweries in downtown SLO! Great food and beer with an indoor/outdoor patio!
Libertine Brewing Company
Delicious spot for lunch and craft beer! They do a great brunch on Sundays as well!
Baileyana, Tangent & True Myth Tasting Room
One of our favorite wineries to taste and picnic at! You can bring your own food and enjoy a glass of wine on their lawn!
Avila Beach
Walk around Avila’s cute downtown for a drink at Mr. Rick's or a yummy bite to eat! The beach is a great spot to catch some sunshine!
Pismo Beach
Pismo has a great downtown and awesome sand dunes! Checkout Pismo Pier for some yummy food and great beach views!
Montaña de Oro State Park
One of our favorite hikes with amazing coastal views and trails! This is the perfect trail walk to do!
Cerro San Luis Obispo Loop
This is a great trail loop that overlooks all of SLO! It’s commonly known as the Madonna Mountain hike. It’s about a 5 mile loop in total. We recommend utilizing the ALLTrails map to help guide you!
Bishop Peak Trail
Bishops Peak is one of the best hikes in SLO for great views and a fun workout! It’s about a 3.7 mile hike out and back! Utilize the ALLTrails link for more info!

Take a drive 15 minutes from downtown to Morro Bay! Kayaking on the water and walking around the town is super fun!
