After postponing wedding plans twice due to Coronavirus, Kevin and Megan decided to tie the knot last October in front of 14 of their closest family members. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, NC. While they wouldn't have traded their small, intimate wedding for the world (it was truly so special), they missed all of you! Megan and Kevin's paths serendipitously crossed during the Fall of 2015, when both Kevin and Megan were working in the same office building in downtown Houston. Kevin was working for a consulting firm on the 6th floor while Megan was working for the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee on the 5th floor. One day, Megan noticed Kevin when he walked onto the elevator, heading up to the office for the work day. Kevin shot Megan a smile, and the two recalled feeling a needed sense of familiarity as they each smiled. They would go on to see each other in the elevator and food court without making much conversation, until one late evening, when Kevin and Megan were leaving the office around the same time. The long walk from the office to the parking garage provided Kevin with an opportunity to strike up a conversation, which he had hoped to do since they both smiled at each other in the elevator. Small talk turned into learning about each other and that turned into Kevin and Megan exchanging numbers. Kevin asked Megan if he could take her out to dinner. The two went on their first date on January 16th, 2016 to Antica Osteria, which holds a special place in their hearts.

In the Fall of 2018, Kevin began to plan for a day when he could finally pop the big question to Megan. It was close to three years since they began dating and Kevin and Megan knew they could create a great future together. Kevin had nailed down a day, November 17th, 2018, to propose and planned the day to be a relaxed excursion to a quiet park outside of Houston, however the scenery wasn't quite as romantic as he had hoped. Thankfully he had also booked a dinner at one of their favorite Italian restaurants in Houston for that evening: at Antica Osteria, the restaurant where Kevin and Megan went on their first date. That night, Kevin and Megan were seated in a quiet, romantic, corner of the restaurant that was next to the fireplace. After Kevin and Megan made their way through dinner, Kevin prefaced desert by getting down on one knee and popping the big question! The two gleefully sat in the quite corner, realizing the rest of the restaurant had not noticed, despite filling up since they had sat down. A waitress then rushed over with two glasses of champagne. A couple outside the restaurant had witnessed the proposal through the window and approached the waitress to order the glasses in Kevin and Megan's honor.
