Will there be a dress code?

Answer

We will not have a specific dress code, but we'd like for you to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Question

Will masks be required? Will dancing be permitted? Proof of vaccine?

Answer

At this time, masks and proof of vaccine are NOT required in Nova Scotia, and dancing is permitted at weddings. If this changes we will let guests know - we're going to have fun either way!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on grass (bear in mind when choosing shoes!). A backup rain plan will be in place.

Will there be much downtime between portions of the wedding?

Answer

Everything will flow with minimal time between. The ceremony will be followed directly by an outdoor cocktail hour, followed by the dinner and then dance!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, Oakfield Golf & Country Club will have ample parking.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We ask that you stick to the number of guests specified on your invitation. This is for capacity, seating, and planning purposes.

Are you registered?

Answer

Nope! We have lived together for several years now and have everything we need. We graciously accept anything you'd like to give.

Will guests be permitted to take pictures and/or post them?

Answer

Absolutely! All we ask is that you keep your phone tucked away and silenced during the ceremony itself. Beyond that, snap & post away!
