Hampton Inn Joliet - I-80
We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Hampton Inn - Joliet I-80 for the dates of September 27 and September 28. You can reserve rooms for one or both dates. The hotel is a 10-minute drive (7 miles) from the wedding reception venue. To ensure you get the wedding-block rate and room type of your choice, please make your plans as early as possible. These rooms are available at the group rate until the room block has been filled or until August 30th, after which their standard rate and availability restrictions will apply. How to Make a Reservation: Please call Guest Accommodations at 815-725-2424. When calling to reserve your room, mention that you are attending the Slater-Wruk wedding. Reservations can be cancelled up until 48 hours prior to the date of arrival without penalty. Harrah's hotel (and casino) is a 12-minute walk/3-minute drive from the wedding venue. If you are planning on using the Metra train system to travel to Joliet, Harrah's hotel is a 14-minute walk/4-minute drive from the train station.

Metra - Rock Island Line
The Metra train system is available for guests traveling from Chicago. Guests will use the Rock Island Service line. Board at LaSalle St. station and depart at Joliet. The wedding venue is adjacent to the Metra station. The wedding venue WAS the Metra/Amtrak station until the expansion of the Joliet Gateway Center in 2018. Amtrak
The Empire Builder route connects Seattle, Montana and Chicago. Once in Chicago, you can transfer to the Lincoln Service route which has a stop in Joliet.

O'Hare International Airport
O'Hare International Airport is the primary airport serving Chicagoland. Joliet is approximately 1hr. from O'Hare (depending on time of day). If you are staying in Chicago, public transportation is available to and from O'Hare using the El - blue line.

Midway is the closest Airport to Joliet. Southwest is the primary carrier operating out of Midway. If you are staying in Chicago, public transportation is available to and from Midway using the El - orange line.
