Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe on Hinge that turned into three months of nonstop texting, calls, and virtual dates before Megan moved to Raleigh. When we finally met at High Wire Brewing in Durham, we instantly bonded over faith, family, and chocolate chip cookies. Our first date went so well that we followed it with three more back-to-back, (because neither of us was interested in pretending to be chill). Justin also fell in love with Megan’s dog, Mowgli, which pretty much sealed the deal. After a year of long distance filled with laughter, patience, FaceTimes, and plenty of countdowns, we are so excited to begin our forever and build a family together.
