Question
Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Answer
No. The ceremony will take place at St. Paul's Cathedral located in Oakland near the University of Pittsburgh. The reception will be held at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh - the two locations are about 15 minutes apart. See the "Schedule" tab for the addresses.
Question
Will there be time between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes. There will be about one hour of time between the end of the ceremony and beginning of the cocktail hour. Guests may use that time to travel, freshen up, or, if it is a nice day, enjoy a stroll through Pitt's campus.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at the cathedral by 2:15pm. This will allow you to find parking and a seat without disturbing the ceremony.

Is there parking?
Answer
The church has a small parking lot accessible on N Dithridge Street. We encourage guests to carpool and rideshare to leave parking spaces for those with limited mobility. The Renaissance does provide valet parking, but we recommend parking in the Ft. Duquesne & Sixth Garage located at 126 6th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. It is right across the street from the reception venue and offers a much better rate.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Yes! We will have an open bar as well as signature drinks.

Will food sensitivities and allergies be accomodated?
Answer
Yes. Please make sure to indicate any allergies or sensitivities on the RSVP and we will make sure the caterer will accommodate.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
While there will not be a shuttle, we will provide Uber vouchers that can be used as credit toward Uber trips.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal attire is recommended for this event. Traditionally, a formal dress code is in between cocktail and black tie. Women: Long, floor or ankle-length dresses Men: Dark-colored suits or tuxedos

We will only accommodate the specific individuals listed on your invitation.

Where are you going on your honeymoon?
Answer
We will be setting sail from Istanbul, Turkey on an 8 day cruise that makes several stops in Greece and disembarks in Barcelona, Spain. We will then stay for 2 days in Barcelona and 3 days in Paris, France. We greatly appreciate any contributions to our honeymoon fund to make this the trip of a lifetime!

I want to make a check out to the couple as my gift. Who should I make the check out to?
Answer
We greatly appreciate any contributions you may choose to gift us for the beginning of our marriage. To ensure that the check can be cashed in a timely manner, please make it out to our current names joined with an "or" (Joseph Kitching or Megan Zercher).
