Unfortunately, the current pandemic has forced us to consider other options for our wedding. In short, the wedding has been cancelled. Rather than push back the date (next available Saturday at our venue is December 26...), Megan and I intend to have a small ceremony with immediate family only on 5/2/2020, or possibly earlier. We're working through that right now. We're hopeful to have a reception at a later date with everyone who would like to join, but the time and place for that is just unknown at this time. It's very unfortunate and we wish we could spend our special moment with all of you, but we also value everyone's health, safety, and comfort. We apologize for such short notice on this, but we felt it was necessary given the current circumstances. We will provide further updates as they become available. Love you all and stay safe.. As many of you know, Jordan and I both went to Otterbein together. We first met on the steps of the football house at one of the classic Otterbein parties (of course- it ended up busted). Jordan was waiting “patiently” on the porch for one of his friends to get done inside so that they could go to the casino😂 —I did not know at the time that this was maybe an everyday event for Jordan at the time lol. I was, of course, was waiting on my little brother, Tyler, to get done at the party so i could go home and go to bed(typical). Jordan and I ended up talking on the porch for a little while. I remember how easy it was to talk to him, however, i was unavailable at the time so didn’t think of it as anything but a good conversation—and thank God, i overlooked his college buzz cut and earring holes 😂 Jordan, even though his mind was probably on winning money at the casino still remembered the conversation enough to “plant his first seed”(as he would say)—and added me on Facebook a few days later. Skip foreword a few years to later- couple jobs, moving to different cities, failed relationships, grad school acceptances, and a few more of Jordan’s “ secret seeds” (yes, he had been casually liking my pictures and posts for years lol). Jordan realized that my pictures no longer had someone else in them and decided to reach out through Facebook messenger. What started out casual conversation, Jordan then asked me out and gave me his number- to which i regretfully declined and said I’ll save it for a rainy day(my nice way of declining his offer) .... a month later, in mid January and one of our first snowfalls, Jordan reaches out on messenger and says “i know you said rainy day... but how bout a snowy day?” I literally chuckled out loud- i mean the patience, commitment, and humor this guy had😂 long story short, I ended up giving him my number, then my trust, the my heart❤️ I want to give a thanks to Ohio’s unpredictable weather and that snowy day for letting fate take over❄️

Guess what?! Many of you know that we are absolute doggie obsessed so since Jordan popped the question, you had to know that Brew had to pop the question as well! The doggie bride and Brew’s long time girlfriend Lilly is super excited as well and sealed the “yes” with a lick on valentines day weekend at the new Brewdog shortnorth Doggie hotel kennels! Pictures to come! The father and mother of the doggies are thrilled! So you guessed it! ..there will be a doggie wedding the same day as ours! It will be a private ceremony held at our Yurt before our ceremony! So please send all your well wishes to the doggie bride and groom! (This is the only way the doggie Grandma allowed Brew to attend the wedding weekend lol) 🦮❤️🦮
