Our story is a bit… unconventional I guess you could say… we have known each other since the SECOND GRADE... that’s 25 years folks (that fact makes us feel old)! With that said, while we may have known each other and even been friends, at times, we certainly did not even think to consider each other as soulmates until sometime after college. It’s a longer story but the short version is we were both visiting our families over the Christmas holiday and ran into each other at a local pub that our friends often gathered at. John couldn’t keep his eyes off Megan… and she wasn’t fast enough to get away from him (he’s a decent marathon runner, cut her a break!) The rest is the exciting part! Over the last several years we have traveled around the world doing all the things we love to share together: Skiing the best powder days, eating too many chips & quesos, snuggling with our 2 doggies Gretch and Grizz, underestimating but still somehow tackling DIY projects, laughing too hard with our friends and playing cards too late into the night with our family. We’ve done so much together and we have more life ahead of us than behind us… so we are ready for what the next chapter in life has in store for us!

We are beyond excited to host our closest friends and family at the Historic Madrona for a magical weekend where we make some of our best life long memories together. The wine country, specifically the Russian River valley, is where our journey in life changed course as we got engaged at the beautiful Cast Vineyard. We love this part of the world for its misty mornings and perfect sunny afternoons… filled with laughter and some of the best Pinot Noir you can find! The Madrona is a special place where you can unwind quietly sipping cocktails on the porch overlooking the valley or get lost in the many gardens on the property.
