Johnathan and I are both scuba divers but our paths never crossed until December 8, 2024 at the annual Scuba Ventures Christmas Party. I was in a boot from inuring my foot during my first Marathon a few weeks earlier. We struck up a conversation and discussed different injuries we've suffered over the years from sports. We went on our first date to see a movie and dinner on December 21, 2024. We became an official couple of weeks later. We both were signed up to go on the Fiji Scuba Trip in March 2025. On the last full day of the trip, Johnathan and I, along with several others, took an excursion to a private island in Fiji, a short boat ride from our resort. This is where Johnathan proposed on March 28, 2025 and I obviously said "Yes!"
