We were both out in downtown Saint Marys, at a bar, called Southern Riverwalk. The bar had a variety of arcade games and there was a live band. I was out with the girls (Ashton and Sarah) and Jeff had met up with some people from work. I noticed him early in the evening a couple of tables away. Eventually one of his coworkers made his way to the table and said he wanted to show us girls a magic trick. Jeff made his way to our table then too and sat down next me. I didn’t remember what the magic trick was. Jeff and I started talking and next thing you know our friends had left us alone at the table and we had been talking for over an hour. Fast-forward a couple weeks into dating and Jeff tells me “you know you cleaned my teeth” so that was actually how we meet the first time.

It was our anniversary weekend and we were out of town in Helen, Georgia, up in the mountains. We had a wonderful day of hiking two different waterfalls. When we came back to our bed-and-breakfast Jeff set the ambience by turning on the fireplace, pouring us a glass of wine, and getting us out a chocolate dessert. He got up and said he forgot one of my gifts for our anniversary. When he came back over he got down on one knee told me he loved me, and asked me to marry him. Of course my answer was yes! I feel like words cannot describe how much I love Jeff and how much I know he loves me.
