Jeffrey and I met all the way back in sixth grade at Corkran Middle School. Jeffrey was in band, and I was in orchestra. Jeffrey also made an appearance or two in orchestra to play the tympanies. Most of my friends were in band and coming to middle school our friend groups meshed. Well crazy enough little eighth grade Megan and eighth grade Jeffrey dated (if you could call holding hands in the hallways dating). Freshman year of high school rolled around and we broke up (he'll never let me live it down). We stayed in the same friend group all throughout high school. It wasn't until my freshman year at Messiah, Jeffrey reached out on Instagram after I posted a picture of Messiah's campus. We hit it off, and by February of 2015 Jeffrey drove up to Pennsylvania just to ask me to be his girlfriend (with a red rose I should add). He has always been amazing from late night conversations to cheering on the side of the track at meets. Our date nights usually consist of Taco Bell and Disney movies or our fancy nights which usually consist of Bonefish and drinks. Jeffrey was very patient in our relationship, as we started to get more serious and talk about marriage, I stated how important finishing my schooling was. We made the agreement that a proposal was fair game after I finished my master's degree. In 2018 I walked across the stage at Messiah College and receive my BA in Athletic Training. Two years later with Jeffrey's love and support I finished my master's at Towson University. On September 27, 2020 Jeffrey asked me to marry him, at the top of a lookout tower at the Maryland Corn Maze and I enthusiastically said yes. I was so excited; they even announced our engagement over the loudspeaker! Once we finished the maze, I was ready to explore the rest of the fair. This man planned a whole celebration at his parents that we went to after we finished the corn maze. We are so incredibly excited to begin this next chapter and live together as husband and wife.
