Our Story
Dec. 2016 -We met at a Christmas party - we grew up in the same town, and we didn't know each other at all. Jay was wearing his mom's Christmas vest that had jingle bells that kept flying off of it and Megan was wearing her white elephant gift - a knitted hat with an attached yarn beard.
March 17, 2017 - After a disgusting apple martini, Megan DM-ed Jay - it was St. Patrick's day, Jay was out with friends. We joked around and began texting.
March 30, 2017 - Our first date! It was a Thursday, we went to a matinee movie - Power Rangers and to dinner - Roberto's Italian.
That first date started it all. We spent most of our time together from that day on. We rescued 3 lovely baby kitties along the way.
August 2020 - Megan moved to CT in 2020 for school. Jay followed a few months later.
May 2022 - Moved to Rochester, enjoying life with our kitties.
Dec. 24, 2024 - Jay Proposed!
Aug. 22, 2026 - We're getting married!! - Be there or be square (because you aren't around).
