Maid of Honor
Who I am today is largely influenced by Regina's own famous content creator, @SaraStrueby. Sara is my older, wiser, more fashionable sister. She helped me avoid awkward makeup phases in my early teens, introduced me to LimeWire, and the world of YouTube vlogs. Sara has always inspired me as she goes fearlessly after the things she wants in life, is ferociously loyal to those she loves, and navigates some of the most extreme challenges life throws her way with grace and grit. Watching her become a mother to my two nieces has been one of life's finest treats. My lovely sister has supported me endlessly throughout all of my years! I couldn't get married without her by my side.

Brooke was introduced into my life as one of Jared's friends and roommates. It was evident to me quickly that she was unlike anyone I'd met before, and I needed to get closer to her! As I've gotten to know Brooke better over the years, I continuously find more and more to love about her. Not only is she intelligent, caring, and supportive, she will show up time and time again honestly, genuinely, and with a sense of humour. Despite only knowing eachother for a few years, we have grown close and I couldn't imagine getting married without her standing next to me. Brooke is the friend we all want and need <3

I've known Hunter since our wee years of life, where we danced together at the Youth Ballet in Regina and shared laughs. As we grew older, life had a way of bringing us back together. We were in band together, where I played the saxophone and she played the flute (a brief time for us both lol). Life pulled us in other directions many times after this, but we always managed to stay friends, even if we only got together every few years. Hunter is an amazing friend, a loving mother of three, and I've watched as she's tackled life's challenges and stages being able to laugh the whole way through. Hunter is the friend who brings me back to ground, and reminds me what life's about. She also happens to be the person who introduced Jared and I. I love her so much!
Best Man
I met Brandon in 2009 when I moved to Regina at 17. While starting my job at HMV, I ended up meeting many of my long-time friends, including Brandon. He’s one of the lifelong friends I made there, along with Katie, Conrad, Danny, Mike, and Jesse, to name just a few! My time at HMV not only sparked my love for movies and music but also introduced me to one of my best friends! When I first met Brandon, I literally remember having the thought, "Wow, it’d be cool to be friends with this guy." I saw that he already had his main group of friends, while I was new to the city, and only really knew my cousin lol. Despite our different tastes in progressive metal, I was determined to forge a friendship. Over the next year, we bonded through wildly different experiences—girl troubles, Call of Duty addictions, late-night philosophical retreats at Denny’s, me getting stabbed with a box cutter, and lots of music and movies. Over the years, our friendship has ebbed and flowed; sometimes we’d see each other every day, while at other times, months would pass without chatting. But through it all, I’m incredibly grateful to say that not only did I become friends with Brandon, but also became best friends!
Groomsman
I met Anthony when I was 0. He's my cousin. I was mostly afraid of him for half of my life. When we were young he had a spiky mohawk and listened to punk music, while I had frosted tips and listened to Blink 182. Our hangouts during our pre-teens were mostly spent doing dangerous things like lighting green army men on fire in his tree house and almost blowing ourselves up when the gas can caught on fire. We didn't see much of each other, until he added me on Xbox one year in like 2007. From that moment on, we played games every single day together until I graduated and then naturally just moved into Regina with him in 2009, where we continued to play like almost every night. Anthony and I have too many stories to even choose from. One time, I drank too much and he drove me on his bicycle handlebars all the way home from downtown, to the south end to the music of The Who. He stopped to take a break and as we sat on the curb recuperating, we watched some random kids break through the window of a pet store. He put me back on his handlebars and we got outta there. This story only helps to illustrate my cousin really is my ride-or-die and always will be!

Spencer and I met in space in 2014 playing a game called Destiny. For the first few months, I had no idea he was from Regina… or that he was muscly. Eventually, he decided to descend from the anonymity of the internet, and we met in real life. Not long after, he, myself, Jesse, and Chris all moved into a big rental house together. Over the years, we’ve been roommates in three different places for nearly a decade—with minimal arguing, which is honestly shocking. One year, when we had to downsize, we sold off all the furniture and household stuff we’d collected from living with six different roommates. Facebook Marketplace came through—we sold everything and made a killing. Then we got the awesome idea to make even MORE money and go to the casino and put it all on black. We lost everything. I have a video of Spencer watching it all disappear—it’s worth almost as much as the money we lost to me. I’m writing this before we leave for my bachelor party in Vegas. Maybe we’ll win it back!!! (EDIT - We're back from Vegas. We did not win it back)
