We met in the Kinesiology program at the University of Toledo in 2014. I accidentally added James on Facebook and then panic messaged him to look like less of a stalker. He invited me to a frat party, we started dating and got engaged in August 2015. During the COVID-19 lockdown, we realized it's been 5 years since then. Life is short - let's get married! ♡ Megan

Megan and I met in what I can only describe as the perfect storm of circumstances in the spring of 2014. We were taking a chemistry class together and I had made a wager on March Madness with the professor that Wichita State would get bounced by the Sweet Sixteen. If I was wrong, I would have lost 10 points on my next exam. If I was right, however, the class would get 2 points towards everybody's grade. Wichita State lost in the round of 32. The cute girl that I always borrowed a pencil from thanked me and that's when she caught my eye. A couple weeks passed with some casual conversation and the usual "Hello," and then one day she wore a pair of knock off converse with comic characters drawn on them. As a self-described nerd and sneaker-head, needless to say those checked several boxes for me. After perusing my Facebook pictures, she accidentally sent me a friend request, and after some brief conversation, I invited her to the tropical-themed party my fraternity held every spring. From that point on we were attached at the hip, and in August of 2015 I knew in my heart she would be the one. We've been through just about everything life can throw at us so far, and we're beyond thrilled that we can share this one small piece of it with you! James
