Question

What is the best way of getting there if I plan on flying in?

Answer

If you are planning on flying in from out of state plan to arrive at Portland International Airport and drive out I-84 East to Hood River, OR. The Tin Roof Barn is across the Columbia River just outside of White Salmon, WA.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you plan to stay the weekend there are tons of lodging options in the area. Unfortunately most of the hotels do not do room blocks so we are unable to provide pre-reserved rooms. You can look on Airbnb, VRBO, and Expedia for hotel options.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 8/23 so we can get final counts to necessary vendors.

Question

Can I RSVP before I receive the Invite?

Answer

Yes of course! If know wether or not you will be able to attend please do let us know early. It will certainly help us manage our guest count. Thanks!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to our venue’s capacity we ask that you do not bring a date unless you are specifically given a plus one.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your children we kindly ask that they sit this party out. There will be a select few children that are a part of the bridal party and those who we are God Parents to. So please plan on arranging child care for your little ones. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have a food allergy please let us know so that we can work with our caterer to make sure we make appropriate accommodations. Please also let us know severity (I.e. food just needs to be labeled vs requires special preparation considerations)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Per the Tin Roof Barn request we ask that guests arrive no earlier than 3:00pm. Ceremony will begin at 4pm.

Question

I don’t see a wedding registry, are you registered for gifts?

Answer

We have decided not to register for gifts and instead ask that in place of gifts you consider donating to our “Home Improvement Fund”. We hope to build an extension onto our house as well as make a few more upgrades to improve house accessibility including new entrance ramps. We appreciate any support!!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Attire is dressy but not formal: We want everyone looking sharp but comfortable enough to throw down on the dance floor.
