🛬 Getting to Kauai You'll be flying into Lihue Airport (LIH), located about 1 hour south of Hanalei. Direct flights are available from many major U.S. cities, but since July is a popular time to visit Kauai, we highly recommend booking flights early. 🚗 Getting Around Once you land, the most convenient way to reach Hanalei is by renting a car. Uber and Lyft are limited on the island, and taxis can be expensive. Renting a car also gives you the freedom to explore the island. 🏨 Where to Stay We suggest staying in nearby Princeville, just a few minutes from the venue. There are many great hotels, vacation rentals, and condo-style accommodations in the area. A few options to explore: The One Hotel Hanalei Bay Resort The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas Princeville condos via Airbnb or Vrbo You can also explore condos/hotels in Hanalei, Kilauea, or Anini. We recommend booking early - hotels and rentals fill quickly in the summer!
