I spent most of my high school and college years with some of his cousins who were my closest friends. Little did I know that I would one day join their family! We were actually both dating other people when we first officially met, but in February of 2016 we purposely spent time together for the first time, and the rest was history!

When Hayden wanted to plan a weekend away for "his birthday", I immediately was onto him. He made sure we rented a cabin where we could bring our dog, and he even suggested our friends come stay for the second night. I just knew something was up! But when he didn't ask me that weekend (turns out, that WAS the plan, but my ring hadn't come in on time!!), he surprised me three days later by driving into town from Louisville without me knowing on what would have been an average Wednesday night. He was inside, down on one knee when I came home, with my dream ring in hand, and asked me to be his wife!
