We met at 21 while attending Northern Illinois University— just two college kids wrapped up in Greek life, never expecting to find something as real and lasting as this. What started as casual conversations at mixers and campus events quickly turned into something we couldn’t ignore. There was an instant connection—familiar, easy, and endearing. Somewhere between late-night talks, shared laughs, and spontaneous hangouts, we became inseparable. We were each other’s person before we even realized it. Our friendship turned into love, and by the time we graduated, there was no doubt that wherever life took us, we wanted to go there together. After college, we moved to downtown Chicago—just the two of us figuring out adulthood, side by side. For the past eight years, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments not only together, but with our closest friends and family. We share a love not only in our shared memories, but also in the way we always make each other laugh. It’s our humor—our shared silliness and ability to find joy in anything—that has kept our bond so strong. Even in tough times, we’ve never stopped being each other’s biggest source of laughter and light. And together, we’ve seen the world. From the romantic streets of Italy to the golden beaches of Mexico, the mountains of Colorado to the sunny coastlines of California—we’ve made memories that feel like a dream. We’ve wandered, explored, gotten lost, and always found our way back to each other. Every adventure has only brought us closer.
