Maid of Honor
Christina and I have been best of friends since middle school. It’s been a solid and crazy 15 years of friendship with each other. I remember going over to her house after school all the time to dance our hearts out in Wii Just Dance. Christina has been my ride or die since day one. We have been each other’s biggest supporters from either watching and cheering me on in drill team performances or her acting and singing in plays for drama. We never missed a performance.
Bridesmaid
Channing and I have been best of friends since high school. We met through mutual friends and became close instantly. With her insanely hilarious personality to her spot on role playing.. she always had you laughing. Channing is the kind of friend that will give her whole heart in a friendship. Channing was our fire cracker when it came to our group. It was never a boring day. Now our fire cracker is a mom of two beautiful twins that can call me auntie meg, which fills my heart tank with so much love.
Bridesmaid
Lahanna and I have been best of friends since middle school. Our friendship grew stronger through drill team by dancing for good ole’ Bullard High School. It was the sweat and tears and long practice days daily that we remember getting each other through. To the countless game nights, lake days, and four wheeling days in high school to saying axe’em jacks in college, we’ve been side by side.
Bridesmaid
Destin and I became co-workers at first then grew a strong and beautiful friendship through it all. Destin has always been there for me since day one of us meeting. Destin is a born and raised gulf coast girl, so when I moved to MS she made sure to give me that true southern hospitality. From making charcuterie boards, planning/hosting friend’s baby showers, and going to crawfish boils, she made me feel like family.
Bridesmaid
Janel and I met when she interned at the VA where I helped mentor for her COMS certification in the Blind Rehab Center. Janel is the kind of friend that will always be there for you no matter how long it has been. I remember barely knowing janel and inviting her to a New Orleans trip with me and some of my friends. Just knowing a little about her but clicking at the very start, I knew we would have the best time. The experiences that we have shared should be in a comedy flick from how amusing they have been.
Flower Girl
MJ is my beautiful little cousin. She has a strong personality and knows how to work hard at something from a young age. MJ never quits and always gives her all when she start’s something (the porostovsky way). MJ is our athletic little ball of energy that never stops dancing and moving. Everyone can’t help but love MJ when they first meet her.
Best Man
For those that don't know, Lane is my twin brother. Lane and I have forged a relationship that has only gotten stronger with time. Having a twin is one of the best gifts God blessed me with. He has always pushed me to reach for the best, in whatever the challenge may be.
Groomsman
Kent is my little brother. I've watched him grow up before my very eyes. I remember seeing his senior play and having the proudest feeling as he was on stage putting on one of the best performances I have ever seen. I'm excited for Kent to start his next chapter in life as he prepares to start college in the fall.
Groomsman
Jacob and I met in college through our Fraternity. Through the many years, Jacob and I have played on many sports teams, pushed each other through that last rep, and sat through many leadership meetings. I'm proud to watch the man he becomes.
Groomsman
JEB and I also met through our Fraternity. JEB and I didn't like each other when we first met; I thought he was a punk kid, and he thought I was a stuck up old head. As time passed on, we both realized we were more alike than we realized, and what started as crap talk soon changed into challenging each other in an iron sharpens iron kind of way. I can confidently say I wouldn't want anyone else to show me how to throw a football wrong.
Groomsman
Chase and I met in the 4th grade. Ever since then, we've had an unbreakable bond. The true meaning of ride or die, he has never failed to answer a call when I needed him. Over the years he has helped me dial in my golf game (if there is ever such a thing), send me stupid trades for my QB in fantasy, and take trips to Texas with me to die in the heat.
