We met 06.02.17 when Ethan ventured to Chicago for a summer internship with IBM. Both living and working downtown, we instantly hit it off on our very first date. Never going longer than a day or two without seeing each other, our summer was full of spontaneous adventures. When the summer came to an end, we made plans to see each other soon after Ethan returned to Iowa State to finish his senior year.

Flash forward through numerous 6-hour road trips, compliments of Greyhound, Megabus, and Megan's cruise control-less Jeep. Because of this, we appreciate every moment spent together. After being long distance, we’re happy to finally live in the same state!

While visiting one of Megan's college friends in Shanghai, Ethan popped the question atop the Great Wall of China. Unbeknownst to Megan, Ethan had been planning on proposing to her for months. After asking her mother's permission, he carried the ring with him through the midst of Shanghai and Beijing, secretly informing Jared and Margaret just a day before the big proposal. She said yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
