If you would like to head to The Ceremony Location with us, we will be meeting at the Walmart Supercenter off of 528 close to 550 at 7:45am and leaving by 8am. There is no service at the Cabin so if you think you might get lost we recommend meeting here to drive out with everyone, ensuring you get to the right place. Again there will be signs along the way at every turn to help direct you. Once you arrive at The Cabin, someone will be at the top where the gate is to either direct you to park at the top or assist with taking you down to the Cabin area.
Ceremony at The Thompson Cabin

Important To Know: This is a semi-formal event(No jeans). The ceremony is surrounded by grass and soft dirt (high heels/stilettos are not recommended)
-We ask guests to be in their seats at 11am -The ceremony is up in the mountains and there is no easy access to restrooms. -To get to the Cabin, a truck, jeep, or other off-road type vehicle is recommended. If you arrive in a car, there will be parking at the top, and someone will be able to bring you down to the cabin area. We will have signs to direct you to the right place. -There will be complimentary snacks and drinks available for everyone. DIRECTIONS: Take 550N to 126 (Right turn after the Allsups) (81 miles) (Allsups is a great place for restroom break) Next 126 to 103 (Left Turn) Road turns into dirt. (94.3 miles) Then 103 to 315 (Right Turn) You will see two large boulders on the right, shortly after will be the turn to 315. (103.2 miles) Finally, take 315 to 315 E (Right turn) (107 miles) If you see mile marker 9 you went too far. As soon as you turn on 315 E you will see a gate. -Parking is at the top where the gate is, and down the hill where the cabin is.

-It takes about 2 hours to get from The Cabin to The House. -Dinner is provided at the Reception so we ask to keep this in mind if you decide to do anything else between The Cabin and The House.

Dinner will be set to be served starting at 5pm so feel free to arrive a little before. What To Expect: -Parking will be in driveway and along the street. There is plenty of room on the street for parking. -Event will be in the backyard with plenty of shade and comfortable seating. There will be a clear path to indicate where to go. -Dinner will include appetizers, various pasta and meat options, salad, bread, and desserts. There will also be an open bar and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available as well. -DJ will take song requests.
