NORTH ELEUTHERA AIRPORT (ELH)

You will fly into North Eleuthera Airport (ELH), just over a 2 hours flight from Atlanta and just over an hour from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Airlines offering direct service to ELH include American from Miami, Delta from Atlanta, and Silver Airways from Fort Lauderdale. Once you touch down at ELH, whether arriving private, charter or by commercial airlines simply collect your bags and take a short taxi ride to the dock. (taxi drivers greet each flight and will take you to the water taxis at Three Island Dock in under five minutes.) Enjoy a five minute water taxi ride to Harbour Island, there you'll be greeted by road taxis who can drive you to your hotel. Most golf cart companies can have the cart waiting for you at your hotel if you pre-arrange!

If you are coming down with a group, we definitely recommend either reserving the house we pre-booked or finding a house to go in on together! It can be more affordable than individual hotel rooms. Staying on Harbour Island is ideal, but Eleuthera can be less expensive- you will just need to have a rental car or get a taxi to the public dock, and a water taxi to Harbour Island for events taking place on Harbour Island. We rented this VRBO from June 28th through July 6th (dates may can be adjusted if need be) and is up for grabs! It is a very popular vacation rental on Harbour Island which is why we pre-rented to save for guests! This cottage is a 4 bedroom and 4 and a half bath historic house built in the mid 1800's overlooking the harbour with fabulous sunset views! We highly recommend this great hotel on Pink Sands Beach if you're wanting to be directly on the beach! Coral Sands also has bungalow and villa options in additon to hotel rooms. This hotel has two restaurants, one right on the beach! Pool and beach access right behind hotel! (Be sure to select lowest price as in the "sort by" tab if searching for rooms through their website)

Romora Bay Marina is a great spot if you are traveling with your boat and need a slip. Our family will have our boat here. Romora Bay also has very comfortable hotel rooms, a great casual dockside restarant/bar, an italian restaurant, pool and fitness center!

The Landing

The landing is a historic hotel property dating back to 1800. This quaint boutique hotel overlooks the harbour with a pool. It is not on the beach but they do have their own designated beach chairs and umbrellas on Pink Sands Beach for guests to enjoy! The landing restaurant is one of my favorites with wonderful breakfast and dinner!
