Killarney National Park
"Breathtaking" may be a word that appears a few times on this page, but we think you'll soon understand why. The views of the lakes from the park certainly qualify for that category. While here be sure to check out Muckross House, Torc waterfall, and if up to it, take a chance on the cardiac steps. If you don't rent a car, there are plenty of guided tours to take you through the park.
Ladies View
We highly recommend driving around the national park to take in all there is to see. You'll most likely pull over quite a few times - be sure to make Ladies View one of those times.

A castle. Emmett thinks castles are sick.
Gap of Dunloe
Well worth a drive/bike/jaunting horse drawn trip through for yet more breathtaking views. Legend says St. Patrick trapped the last snake in Ireland in a chest in one of the lakes here. Who's St. Patrick? (Emmett thinks that's funny)
