Question

Where should I park?

Answer

We have a few options! We have reserved a lot at 807 N Marshall St, which is a few blocks from the venue (0.3 mi) and is free for our guests. There are 28 parking spots available at this location and it is first come, first serve. To park in this lot, you MUST enter your information in the link below, or you risk being towed. Once all 28 spots are filled, the link will no longer work. Guests are able to park until 12:30am, at which time our permit expires. Note that this lot is shared with the Dubbel Dutch Hotel - please do NOT park in the spots labeled "reserved" as those spots are exclusive for hotel guests. We encourage carpooling if possible! See the link below to register your vehicle: https://www.offstreet.io/events/ZN942GFG Alternatively, there is lots of street parking surrounding the venue! We do encourage you to be mindful of signage and possible parking limitations - many streets have 2 hour parking limits. There is also a surface pay-for-parking lot at 822 N Van Buren St (0.3 mi), as well as a parking garage (the Cathedral Square Garage) at 530 E Mason St (0.6 mi). NOTE: For our guests with accessibility needs, you may pull into the driveway of The Fitzgerald - which is to the LEFT of the building - to unload. Once you have unloaded, please relocate your vehicle as our vendors will need access to the driveway. There is a ramp on the patio to enter the building.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire! We'd love to see everyone dressed up. For the gentlemen, we encourage a suit and tie, or a sport coat. For the ladies, we encourage a cocktail or mid-length dress, a fancy jumpsuit, or nice slacks and a dressy top! Please no jeans/shorts.

When should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage you to arrive AT LEAST a half hour (4pm!) before the ceremony begins to ensure you can find parking and can settle in! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love and adore your little ones, if your invitation/RSVP does not specifically name your children, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for them to stay at home. Thank you for understanding.

What if I have a food allergy/dietary need?

Answer

No problem at all! Please let Megan know as soon as possible at mlbaranek@gmail.com or (414)-699-2704. She will contact the caterer and make accommodations.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will have an outdoor option. There will be a coat check available.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive only with the number of guests indicated on your invitation and on your RSVP. Our venue does have a maximum capacity that we must adhere to. However, if you feel we missed someone important, please reach out and we will try our best to accommodate, if possible.

Do you have hotel arrangements?

Answer

No specific block arrangements have been made. However, Downtown Milwaukee has a plethora of hotels, many of which are very close to the venue! Check out our "Travel" link for a few suggestions.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is a ramp entrance off of the front terrace/patio.
