Megan’s oldest childhood friend, Briana has stuck by Megan’s side through all the good times (graduations! birthdays! falling in love!) and all of the embarrassing times (those clear braces, blue contacts, orange highlights lol). From writing each other friendship letters in 5th grade to figuring out life together living at home post-college graduation, Briana is the best and most loyal friend a girl could ask for. Megan is so honored to have Briana stand by her side as her maid of honor!

Alex Vanderkaay

Father of two boys, beloved husband, 2x NCAA Champion, uncorrected 20/20 vision, perfect teeth without the aid of orthodontics - Alex truly is the best man. Just about any of Dane's successes in life can be attributed to following in his next oldest brother's footsteps. Often labeled as the "funniest" Vanderkaay (this is up for debate), Alex is a natural at just about anything he takes on.

Mei-Li Thompson

Megan’s college roommate, Mei and her friendship made Penn some of the best years of Megan’s life (even though neither of them are sure how their friendship started). There is no one Megan would rather take a romantic road trip to Ojai with, annoy by pouring trail mix on the table and only eating the chocolate, or dance around the kitchen with listening to Avril Lavigne (Embarrassing? No) with. Mei has been there for Megan since college, and Megan is honored to have Mei by her side on this important day.

Peter Vanderkaay

Known far and wide for his massive accomplishments in the pool, Peter is known by his family and friends for his work ethic and friendship that far outweigh any Olympic medal he has won. Dane lived with Peter before moving out to Denver, and, just like his other brothers, Peter has had a tremendously positive impact on Dane's life since childhood - whether in swimming, school, or anything for that matter.

Chloe Lustig

Chloe and Megan instantly became friends during health class the summer prior to their freshman year of high school. From making (questionable?) T-shirts that read “So Fetch” to wear to the local fair to enduring Megan’s (horrible) singing audition for a high school musical to visiting each other every time they’re both home in CA, Megan & Chloe have stayed the closest of friends despite living on opposite sides of the country for so many years. Megan is so excited to have Chloe - her most most fashionable, put together, eloquent, brilliant, and #girlboss friend - stand by her side!

Christian Vanderkaay

Eldest of the Vanderkaay brothers (and a safe haven for Dane when he was younger and hiding from the other brothers for something stupid he did), Christian has always been a caring, compassionate, and a friend to Dane. When he's not taking tremendous care of his patients in Grand Rapids, he's planning his next open water swim somewhere in the Midwest that most people avoid.

Anna Machuga

Anna and Megan first met freshman year of high school at SM’s golf tryouts, where Anna unfortunately mistook Megan’s nervousness as being mean. Luckily, they moved past that and became close friends, bonding over One Direction, Charlie (woof), the OG crew, and taking cute "Megan carrying Anna" photos at every high school event. A beloved OT and DIY queen (anyone need a cute embroidered bandana for their dog?), Anna truly has a heart of gold, and Megan feels lucky to have her as one of her best friends.

Casey Sreenan

Aka "Beastman" aka "Mongo" Casey and Dane met in in college on the swim team and have been close friends ever since. Friends don't come any more loyal than Casey. As an active member of the United States Coast Guard, Casey has been keeping our borders and waters safe since 2015. Everyone loves Casey….except for girls whose hearts he broke, but most of them were heartless to begin with.

Morgan Vanderkaay

Megan’s future sister-in-law and the funniest Vanderkaay (not up for debate), Morgan is the cooler older sister Megan never had. She’s a Pina colada-loving hype woman who will party with you until late at night in Puerto Rico and then save your life the next day with her IV skills and solid life advice. Can you ask for a better bridesmaid?

Dane's freshman year roommate and good friend from Michigan swimming, Dan aka "Dancin Dan" aka "Birds Nest" is all around one of the most impressive people Dane has ever known. Some people have said Dan and Dane captained the closest team in Michigan swimming history (2011-2012). If you ever beat Dan at anything, you should relish in the moment because it won't last long.

Josie D'Amico

Megan’s oldest cousin on her dad’s side, Josie is someone Megan always looked up to when she was growing up (Josie studied abroad in Spain so Megan, naturally, wanted to study abroad in Spain). An athletic snowboarder and avid hiker, Josie is one of Megan’s favorite people to have as a visitor in CO and to visit when she's home in CA.

Chris Douville

Don't let the fancy PHD from Johns Hopkins in biomedical engineering fool you - Chris Douville aka "Douvy" is a lunch pail toting, hard hat wearing, blue collar man who punches the time card every morning (he doesn't actually do any of these things but likes to think he does) and has been known to run marathons with no training. Some people are saying that Douvy is the most eligible bachelor on the entire eastern seaboard.
