Is the wedding outside or inside?

Our wedding will be outside with a view of the lake and the mountains!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night.

What is the Dress Code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our special day! Dress code is semi-formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear suit and tie or slacks with a nice shirt. Please no jeans! Brides tip: The venue is outside in an alpine area so pine needles can get dragged in clothing that is too long! Know before you go!

What type of shoes should I wear?
Answer
Since the ground is going to be variable and the entire wedding will be held outside, we would recommend not wearing stiletto heels. Heels aren't discouraged but sturdier heels might be a worthy choice! Bride's tip: For this very reason I will be wearing booties with some heel! :)

Answer

Do we provide accommodations (hotels, transportation, etc.)?
Answer
No, all guests will have to pay for their own accommodations. For suggestions on places to stay and areas that will be the best in terms of proximity to the venue, we have provided this information in the travel tab of our website.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?
Answer
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony begins at 4:30, so leave yourself enough time to park, shuttle in, mingle a bit, and seat down. We would suggest arriving at 4-4:15!

Where should I park?
Answer
There is parking at the Summit Lodge along the old 40 highway from there, Sugar Bowl will provide a shuttle from the parking lot but if you prefer to walk it is a short 5-7 minute jaunt to the venue!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Answer
We are opting for an unplugged wedding! We’ve hired a photographer to capture this moment with their camera, so we please ask you to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony!
