Things To Do

There is so much to do in Charlottesville, and we're so excited to share our favorite things with you
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards

Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards

5022 Plank Road, North Garden, VA 22959
, (434) 202-8063

Charlottesville is known for it's vineyards & wineries, and Pippin Hill is one of the best! (Besides King Family...of course) Some of our other favorites include Afton Mountain Vineyards and Veritas Winery.

Monticello

Monticello

For our history buffs, Monticello is a must-see! Home of Thomas Jefferson and gorgeous architecture, just 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville.

Downtown Mall

Downtown Mall

East Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902

The Downtown Mall is one of the longest pedestrian malls in the US, and is known for great restaurants, bars, and shopping. Some of our favorites include Commonwealth at Skybar for a great meal and rooftop views, The Whiskey Jar for a drink and live music, and The Pie Chest for dessert. It has a great Farmers Market on Saturday mornings!

Bodo's Bagel Bakery - UVA "Corner"

King Family Vineyards Polo Match

If you're hankering for some more King Family after the ceremony and reception, there are polo matches every Sunday at 12pm.

Humpback Rock

Humpback Rock

Humpback Gap Overlook, Afton, VA 22920

Short and sweet 2 mile hike with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park. Start at the Humpback Rocks parking area right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The easiest way to get to this spot from Charlottesville is to take 64W and get off at exit 99 following the signs to the Parkway.

Carter Mountain Orchard and County Store

Carter Mountain Orchard and County Store
