It all started because of our work (The University Club). Collin being a supervisor, and Megan being a server. We were friends for about a year, both dating other people when we met. Then we both happened to become single around the same time. Being single and not ready to mingle, we began hanging out more outside of work, just as friends. Then one day it just hit us that this "friendship" might have more chapters to the story.

We went to dinner at the University Club, where we met and worked on campus. Then, after dinner Collin asked to walk around campus (around the Tiger Fountain). Collin had recreated a scene from the TV show, "The Office" where Michael Scott proposes to Holly Flax. Our closest friends were lined up (which was a surprise since most drove in from out of town), holding candles. We walked by all of them, then proceeded to Traditions Plaza, where we had our first kiss. Collin had the movie ticket from our first date framed, and there were roses and more candles. Collin then got on one knee, proposed, and now here we are!
