We’re getting married!

It all started in May 2020, while the entire world was on lockdown from COVID-19. Megan had been joining mutual friends, Tim and Jeaneen Kappell, for a "Quarantine Happy Hour" on their front patio (where everyone could "socially distance") through April 2020. Chris scored a coveted invite to this very "exclusive" Quarantine Happy Hour during a chance meeting with Jeaneen while biking around White Rock Lake one day. He showed up for that Friday's Quarantine Happy Hour in cycling shorts, sporting the new growth of a COVID-19 beard. Unsurprisingly, conversation was dominated by the usual suspects: COVID-19 and TV shows to binge watch. Chris recommended Waco; Megan recommended Tiger King -- and things took off from there. The full story would take too long to recount, so suffice it to say it was a whirlwind romance, dominated by an uncharacteristic amount of texting, long nights at the dog park, homemade manicotti (from Chris) and cookies (from Megan), "remote" co-working, and Tiger King, of course.
