We're getting married!

New Girl, Christmas Lights & Burgers. What do these all have in common? Each one of these played a part in the start of our story, and with our story now reaching its next chapter, we thought it would be a great time to reflect on it! Megan & I met online and immediately hit it off by exchanging witty references to a popular show, 'New Girl'. What started with some chats back and forth quickly turned into us going on our first date a couple of weeks later, the day after Christmas to, of course, go to a drive-thru Christmas lights show. The conversations flowed so easily, the laughs were there, constant smiles between us, and we finished the night by getting burgers from Small Cheval in Chicago. Though we didn't know it then, this date would play into our relationship from there on out! Anyone who knows us knows that we fancy going out for burgers to enjoy them, but also to rank them and even create our own list of rankings to keep track. We also try to make it a yearly tradition to head to drive-thru Christmas lights to keep the legacy and reminder of how we first started being together! Similar to our first text conversations with witty comments, we often exchange references and constantly make each other laugh and smile throughout each moment we have together. Through the years, we have embarked on more burger quests than we can imagine, more Cubs games than we ever thought (even though she was a born and raised St. Louis Cardinals fan), but most importantly, more memories shared that we can cherish forever. Through watching each other progress in our careers or education, we have been rocks to each other through it all and each other's #1 fan. It is amazing to be embarking on this new journey together, but although it is a new chapter, it is just a continuation of the fun times, smiles, laughs, burgers, Cubs games, memories, and the love we have for each other. We are thrilled to solidify our relationship forever and cannot wait to share this moment with all of you. Love, Chris & Megan
