We met in Mount Pleasant, MI, in January 2022. Chase is a Michigan native, and Megan was completing her PhD program at CMU. Our first date was a whirlwind of coffee, Mexican food, cider, and playing pool. In our first year of dating, we went to concerts, a rugby tournament in Nashville, met each others families, and fell in love. Fast forward to the summer of 2023, we moved into our first apartment together and adopted our two cats, Whiskey and Twix. The next year was filled with rugby, school, family, friends, and saying goodbye to Michigan. In the summer of 2024, Megan, Chase, and the cats packed up and moved to Virginia for a year. Megan was completing her internship in the local school district, and Chase worked in financial aid for a local tech college. The year was filled with making memories with new friends and family, Chase getting sunburnt every time we went to the beach, and a handful of parades. When 2025 rolled around, we began searching for a new city to call home. Chase proposed to Megan on Easter day! Megan graduated with her PhD in May 2025 and secured a position in Colorado. We made our longest move yet (22 hours across the country) and currently live in Denver, CO. Chase has a job working in the billing department of a nonprofit, and Megan works as a psychologist in the public schools. Now our time is filled with rugby, pickleball, wedding planning, and exploring our new city. We are excited to see where this next chapter in life takes us!
