Working in the production industry brings you together with many people. The day Charley and Megan met was an ordinary, hot Florida day at the Suwannee Music Park. Megan was fresh out of school and eager to learn at her first big job. Soaking in the sun and opportunities, she was focused and driven. Little did she know she would drive head first into the greatest distraction of a life time. Charley was devouring a plate of breakfast as if he had no time to spare, gearing up for a hard day of work. Megan walked into the room only to lay eyes on Charley for the first time.. This was the moment Megan knew she was determined to find out who this person was. Megan shortly was then assigned to work in a different area, however, if you know Megan you know that when she is determined she normally succeeds to get where she wants to be. Megan somehow worked her charm and convinced her boss to take her to the stage Charley was leading the build on. Jumping on a golf cart giddy, she drove her way to the man of her dreams. Pouring sweat and leading a crew she saw Charley and jumped off the golf cart, being koi and introduced herself. It was in this moment they both knew they were destined to be in each other’s lives. Fast forward to 5 years later of foundational friendship, fate brought the two together blossoming true love and a life time of partnership.

A world-wide pandemic could not keep these two apart. Over 900 miles apart none-the-less. Global isolation ironically enough, drew these two together. Months of investing time and effort, conversations of understanding each other’s life’s in the most difficult of times, eventually brought Megan to Florida. The two quickly fell in love and began the greatest adventure of them all. Fast forward to Christmas day, 2021 where the two were exchanging gifts of love and laughter. Saving the best for last Megan picked up her stocking. It was heavy and intriguing. She pulled out sweets and an elegant box. Shocked to see the box she opened it with wide eyes. Inside was a ring… with a watch on it.. Laughing Charley says “ Tik-Tok, Tik-Tok”. Confused as ever, Megan raised an eyebrow. Charley then says “keep going!” She continues to pull out random acts of love only to end at the bottom. There was something soft but heavy and a mystery. It was her engagement ring. Charley got on one knee asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. Tears in both of their eyes, Megan said “ YES!”.
