What is there to do around Havre de Grace?

The Scavenger Hunt will cover our personal favorites, including local antiques stores, oddities, small businesses, and public art. Havre de Grace has been SO fun to explore during the planning process - we're excited to share what we've found! :)

Wasn't there going to be an owl at your wedding?

Answer

This truly has been frequently asked, which is how I know we've invited the right guests: your priorities are spot on. One of the venues we toured did offer an owl, and that was a HUGE selling point. Unfortunately, that venue did not offer some other prioritized resources, and the owl was not stepping in to help coordinate. We are equally devastated and hope to offer an owl at a future event. There IS, however, a set of "birds of prey" wood sculptures on the boardwalk near the inn, so take some time to check that out if you're interested!

Why did I not get to pick my dinner on the RSVP?

Answer

We will be serving a buffet-style dinner at this event, so everyone can pick and choose! Hold tight for menu details, once we know them ourselves! If you have a major dietary restriction, please do make sure to note that on your RSVP, so we can ask for menu specifics to be shared with you at the buffet.

Can I participate in a Catholic wedding mass if I am not Catholic?

Answer

TL;DR: Yes! We will be celebrating a Catholic ceremony without the Mass and Eucharist components, so all attendees will be able to participate in almost every aspect of the ceremony*. *Please note that any "kissing of the bride" is a privilege reserved for only one celebrant. We hope you'll understand.
