The health and safety of our loved ones is our #1 priority. We are taking all necessary precautions to observe the CDC's recommendations. We will have masks and sanitizer available for all of our guests as well as additional seating to allow distancing. Both our ceremony and reception will occur outside to allow for ample space between guests. We will also have a wristband system to allow others to understand your comfort with social interaction. We are asking that all guests wear masks when on the dance floor and in crowded areas like the bar. Please let us know if you are feeling unwell close to the date of the wedding, while we hate to miss you we ask that anyone feeling any symptoms please stay home.
Our first ask of all our guests is to please stay home if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or if you have been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19. We also ask that all guests frequently wash and sanitize hands throughout the night. Please give those with a red wristband on ample space. We are also asking that guests wear masks on the dance floor and in crowded areas such as the bar. We will have face masks and hand sanitizer for each guest.
The dress for our wedding is formal. Our venue is a beautiful fully outdoor setting. Please keep this in mind when choosing shoes and dress. Temperatures in the mountains can be lower than in the city, so please check weather to see if you will need a jacket for the reception. If you would like a fashionable mask, please BYOM. We will have cloth masks available for all guest upon arrival to the venue.
While we love your little ones, we are asking that our wedding be an adults-only event. Take the night off and enjoy some adult time!
While we encourage you to take photos at our wedding, our ceremony will be completely unplugged, no exceptions. We have hired an incredible photographer to capture our day, and I promise she will take LOTS of great ceremony shots that we are happy to share. No #, but feel free to share the festivities outside of the ceremony on social media as much as you would like!
Yes! We love the quirky attitude in Helen as well as the natural beauty of the North GA mountains. Helen is about 2 hours outside of metro Atlanta so please plan accordingly for transportation. We would recommend staying the night on Saturday.
There will be ample parking at the venue. We encourage responsible drinking, so please make arrangements to get home after the reception.
We are a little remote, so Uber will not likely be available. Please check the travel tab for information about transpo from the hotel blocks we have at this time. If you are staying in a cabin or other hotel, please plan to have a sober drive home from the venue!
