Question

Do I have to stay at Moon Palace?

Answer

No! We would love if you join us, but the resort will accommodate up to 20% of the wedding guest list staying elsewhere, only joining us for the wedding. If you ARE thinking of staying elsewhere, we just ask that you let us know so we can ensure we stay within the resort's constraints :) Also, we do have a link for the Moon Palace Grand which is higher-end (so more expensive) with more optional activities while guests can still do all things associated with the Moon Palace. If you're interested in this, just reach out to us and we can send you the link!

Question

How do I travel from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Moon Palace will provide free transportation to and from the airport for guests staying 4+ nights. If this applies to you, they request booking your transportation service > 2 weeks in advance of your arrival date at https://transfers.palaceresorts.com/. If you need transportation within 48 hours of your arrival, contact the hotel at +52 998-193-1996 between 7am and 6:45pm Cancun EST UTC-0500 Time. Other options are easily google-able, including Happy Shuttle Cancun and Cancun Airport Transportation.

When should I get there?

Answer

Whenever you want! The room rates are good any time from May 24 - June 3. We do plan on having a welcome dinner that everyone will be invited to on Thursday, May 28, but no worries if this doesn't fit your travel plans :) We are personally planning to be at Moon Palace May 25 - June 1.

How do I express my bed preference?

Answer

Per the resort, "Most of our rooms are offered with an inventory of either one king-size bed or two double beds. However, this aspect is subject to availability, as room assignments are finalized upon arrival by the Front Desk staff. While bed type preferences cannot be guaranteed in advance, guests may include their preference in the notes or comments section at the time of booking. Please note that these requests will be taken into consideration but cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival."

How do I make a change to my reservation?

Answer

You can contact the customer service team via email ( ccweddingspr@thepalacecompany.com ) or phone (1-877-725-4933). We have personally found them to be quickly responsive and very helpful when we have emailed.
