Was it love at first sight???? We first meet at my sorority house as he and his brothers came over for an ice cream social (the party before the party). I remember them all coming in one-by-one and then here he comes, my eyes went right to him.....and straight down to that fact that we were in TOLEDO and he was the only one to have his foot shoved into big untied boots. I thought to myself, "this is something I would see back home, not here." Fast forward to later that evening at the after party and depending on who you ask, "Boy jumps into girls photo, dancing ensued and pretty soon we found ourselves together for the rest of the party." To follow there was an invite for pizza, finding out we grew-up in neighboring counties, friends executing relationship status schemes and a whole lot of laughs, memories and a growing relationship in the works.

It was the weekend of our friends trip to Hocking Hills, as well as my birthday weekend. It was the weekend fully planned with friendship, games, hiking, drinking, fun memories and little did I know celebrating. We just finished dinner and they surprised me with birthday cupcakes. As I stood in the kitchen, enjoying my desert, Bryce walked up with a wrapped present saying, "I have one more gift for you." I quickly responded, "You we're not supposed to get me anything." Many thought I would have put it together at that point, but still to my surprise I had not and thought he was handing me a movie. The framed photo I unwrapped was of him (in the same attire) down on one knee holding the ring. As I looked up he too was down, smiling back at me, holding the ring, asking me to take his hand and make it last FOREVER.
