We met on our first day of school at the University of Scranton in our Intro to Philosophy class. Little did we know that our casual friendship would quickly transform into a beautiful love story.
During our sophomore year, we began to spend more and more time together. Since we had several of the same classes, we quickly became study buddies. We then started regularly eating meals together, and later that fall we went on our first real date to Roba's Family Farms! Before leaving for our date, we met at the Jacob and the Angel statue on campus and snapped a cute picture. We had so much fun getting lost in the corn maze, eating yummy cider doughnuts, and picking out our very own pumpkin!
July 2nd, 2021. The best day of our lives (so far!) After talking it over with the Fabians, Brian invited Megan and her family to Scranton for the Fourth of July. Our day started off with a relaxing morning and early afternoon filled with yummy food and fun lawn games with our families. In the late afternoon, we went to the University of Scranton so Megan and her best friend could have a postponed graduation photoshoot, with Brian acting as the “photographer.” Little did Megan know that there was a ring box waiting for her in Brian’s pocket! As the three of us walked all over campus, we reminisced about our favorite college memories. At the end of the photoshoot, we climbed the hill to the Jacob and the Angel statue, the very same place where we had our picture taken before our first date. As a gentle rain began to fall, Brian knelt down and asked the woman of his dreams the most important question of his life - “Megan, will you marry me?” Almost before the words were out of his mouth, Megan exclaimed “Yes!” and leapt into Brian’s arms. After a second round of photos (this time focusing on that new ring on Megan’s finger), we returned home to celebrate with our families.
