In August 2015, loveuw11 sent buckshot555 a message on Match.com. For their first date, Brent took Megan to Bennihana’s in Milwaukee. They talked, tried some weird food, and at the end of the night went their separate ways. Megan called her friend on the way home saying that she thought the date went really well but she must have been wrong because at the end of the night, he didn’t ask for her phone number. Two weeks later, Brent took Megan mini golfing where numbers were exchanged and more plans were made. After doing a long-distance relationship for many months (Oconomowoc is really far out there!), Megan convinced Brent to move to Wauwatosa. After living together in their apartment for a year, they bought and moved into the house where they live now. Brent and Megan love to take trips together, they have been lucky enough to go to Las Vegas NV, Punta Cana DR, Zion National Park in Utah, Hayward WI (twice), and they have made several trips to Chicago, IL.

Brent convinced Megan that a client of his had a deal on hotels in Door County so he planned a trip there for the end of the summer. There was no client, there was no deal, just Brent trying not to be too suspicious. Brent and Megan biked around Washington Island, went to a couple breweries, watched the sun set over the bay, and did a kayak tour. On their way to dinner, Brent wanted to stop at the Cana Island Lighthouse because it was “on the way.” When they arrived, the water level was too high to walk on the trail to get there so they hopped onto a wagon and a tractor pulled them through the water to the island. Once at the lighthouse Brent asked a random person to take their picture. After posing for a few, Brent got down on one knee and asked Megan to marry him. The man kept clicking so now there are pictures of the whole thing! They celebrated with a romantic dinner at Gordon Lodge. It was the perfect weekend.
