In the fall of 2018, Bobby gave his Mom, Lisa, the green light to help him find a girlfriend. Little did he know how much that decision would change his life forever. Soon thereafter, a mutual connection and chance encounter at Farm to Fork, led Megan to meeting Bobby’s parents. Lisa immediately asked Megan for her birthday. A pair of geminis were in the works! Lisa raved about Bobby and quickly fired off many of his accolades: “My Bobby went to Jesuit.” “My Bobby is in commercial real estate.” “Maybe I should just send him down here tomorrow”. While Megan assured her it was not necessary to do so, she was intrigued by this fella. Naturally she went home that night and put her blonde detective skills to work. Much to her delight, she liked what she saw. So, for the first time in her life, Megan slid into a DM, after seeking guidance on the matter from a younger, cooler friend. She just had to figure out who this Bobby was. After a little back and forth, and a tiny white lie about a change of plans, Megan and Bobby first met at Berkley Bar in October of 2018. From the start, they both knew there was something special. Walks at McKinley with Megan’s nephew, Kings games, and movies at The Crest became the norm for the pair. They both quickly learned that when people say “when you know, you just know”, they weren’t kidding! They have traveled and toured around Chicago, Seattle, Tahoe, and fully traversed the California coast. Perched atop a seaside bench on Bainbridge Island, on the most blue bird fall day in history, Bobby told Megan he loved her. Turns out they had both been bursting at the seams to say it for months. Not surprising with these two! And, in the wee hours of the morning, dawned in his Nantucket Red pants and a heavy dose of nerves, Bobby asked Megan for her forever on a dock over Carnelian Bay in Tahoe, on their favorite day of the year, 4th of July. It was early. It was perfect. He’s promised to never wake her up that early on vacation again.
