We're Getting Married

For Megan it was a day of celebration. A fancy dress and high heels. For Tony, it was another day at work, a company shirt and tennis shoes. March 4, 2022, Megan was getting off the boat with a mission on her mind, to take off her heels and find pink Florida slides. While Tony was clueless on who was going to walk in. With the pink Florida slides on her feet and her friend Gillian by her side the two girls made their way to Toucans, where Tony was bartending at the time. A high noon on her mind and the need to dance she walked in. Tony's eyes averted from whatever he was doing and followed the beautiful Megan to her seat, knowing they should be together. As the night progressed Tony and Megan talked with almost no interruption (he was still working). The time came for the bar to close and Megan knew the question she had to ask. "What's your phone number?" Tony gave it without delay and when he was done working they met at another bar down the street, talking and flirting until 3 AM. Tony called off work the next day, unbeknownst to Megan who thought he was off. They went to dinner with her friend Gillian and wandered and explored Dunedin. Tony knew Megan was the one, and Megan had a feeling about a boy. The next day, Megan drove back to Jacksonville and apart they were. Tony and Megan kept talking. Paragraph text messages, 3 hour phone calls, and movie long facetime calls. Learning everything about each other even being a thousand miles away (at one point). One day, Tony was at a bar on Clearwater Beach enjoying some Shecrab soup and a beer, while talking to the patron next to him about Megan. He said, "Why are you texting her so much? Just go see her." That is exactly what Tony did, the next week he went to Jacksonville. A jazz festival, Jumbo shrimp baseball game, jet-skiing and homemade dinners was their week shared. Tony went back home, and Megan moved back to Austin. Tony visited, meeting all her friends and family by also driving to Fort Worth. Megan moved to St. Petersburg and the rest is history. Life together was what they did. Megan and Tony took numerous trips and lived in Seattle and Boston. Exploring what the different states had to offer. Mount Rainier to Fenway Park, to the Olympic National Park to Cape Cod. Their love flourished and grew strong. Megan and Tony decided to move to Fort Worth, back for Megan in October 2023. Then, On January 17, 2025, Tony got down on one knee, in the beautiful state of Hawaii, and asked Megan to be his wife. Years of growth and love had brought them to that moment. Now years of love from you will bring everyone together July 11, 2026 in Clearwater, Florida to celebrate the Holy Union of Megan Bolinger and Tony Polio.
