Our wedding is celebration of love, especially the love that God gave to us through the birth, death, and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ. This is the joining of two families and the happiness that exists in a relationship that is centered around Christ. We have both waited many years to find one another and agree the wait was worth it. We are excited you are joining us on this very special day and know you will help nurture this incredible relationship that God has formed.

When I met Amir I KNEW he was different. He was so patient and kind. I felt like I had known him my entire life. Our phone calls lasted hours and felt like moments. Our first weekend away in Charlotte I picked him up from the airport and as we embraced in the terminal I didn't want to let go. Then suddenly time slowed down. 40 minutes felt like 4 hours, I enjoyed every moment with him. That first weekend was magical but not in a whirlwind way, in a "could be completely myself", calm way. My anxiety was completely gone when I was near Amir. Shortly after that first weekend together I prayed about Amir and felt this complete sense of calm and realization. Amir felt like home because he was the one I was supposed to be with. The feeling grew and his actions and behavior exceeded every thing I had dreamed of, prayed for, and hoped for my entire life.

Amir had FaceTimed with the kids numerous times before meeting them. He had even helped Hunter with his science project! Yet, when he decided to come to Thanksgiving dinner with them all I was nervous. The kids were WIDE open and Hunter showed his true colors towards the end of dinner. I was embarrassed and nervous Amir would decide it was all too much. As we were cleaning up, the dinner HE had completely prepared, Amir looked at me and said he had a wonderful evening and he loved every minute of it. Um, how are you real?
