It was a hot July day in the midst of a pandemic. There was no where to go but the pool connected to Alex's and Caroline's (Megan's friend and bridesmaid) condo building. After only seeing each other in passing, Alex starting hollering "hey neighbor!" at Caroline and her mysterious friend. From then on, Alex and his friends and Megan and Caroline talked for hours at the pool with lots of White Claw. Alex made sure to get Megan's number as the day was ending. After texting for a week, they had their first date at Twin Span Brewery. It was such a great first date that Megan spit up her wine after laughing at a story Alex told. After lots more pool days and even a rodeo they made their relationship official. The rest is history!

It was the weekend before our first solo trip together. We had planned to stay in and get ready for the trip. Little did Megan know what was in store for her. She walked into the condo 10 minutes later than usual to the song Big, Big Plans by Chris Lane playing on Alexa and a trail of long stem roses leading out to the deck. Once she made her way out on the deck, she saw Alex on one knee with a ring box and a bouquet of their favorite cookies saying "Will you marry me, Megan?". After the perfect heart felt speech and lots of kissing, she said YES! There was then tears, champagne, and calling loved ones. We then had the best weekend celebrating with family and friends before going on a vacation.
