Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site
The site of a pre-Columbian Native American city directly across the Mississippi River from present-day St. Louis, Missouri. Today, the Cahokia Mounds are considered to be the largest and most complex archaeological site north of the great pre-Columbian cities in Mexico.
Jefferson Barracks Park
Jefferson Barracks features a Civil War museum, a National Cemetery and a magnificent park on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. It is also one of Alex's favorite places to play disc golf in St. Louis!
