We will be hosting a "welcome party" for all guests in town Thursday evening at 7pm. This will be the kick off to the wedding weekend! There will be drinks, apps, and a bluegrass trio! Stop by and say hi! The big day is on Friday! On Saturday, all are welcome to stop by the Kenney beach house for a drink, some food, and to hangout!- With the wedding day itself going by so fast, we want to make sure we get to spend as much quality time with our people as possible- especially those who are making the haul to the east coast! **Feel free to go explore Charleston on this day too! But of course we would love to see all your faces as much as possible!**
We will be having an adults only wedding (minus the few that are in our wedding)- Thank you for understanding!
We are striving for an as intimate (as possible) wedding with those closest to the couple! If you are single, don't fret, Megan and Alex will hook you up with one of their other single friends... ;)
Yes! The ceremony and reception are 3 miles from each other and both offer parking! You ARE able to leave your car at the reception overnight... please just pick it up by 10am the following morning!
Please RSVP by February 1, 2021 right here on the website!
We encourage everyone to take appropriate safety measures in the week(s) preceding the big day so we are able to celebrate with you all! However, if you feel sick or are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or loss of smell and taste the week of the wedding, please stay home and celebrate with us from afar. We are expecting 150 guests. Our wedding ceremony will take place indoors, the cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the reception will take place outdoors (except dancing/live band will take place indoors). The venue has enough space for everyone to socially distance. There will be fire pits and lawn games if you choose not to dance! We are requesting mask use for guests when they are indoors and not able to social distance. Please bring your own masks. We will be spacing out ceremony seating and reception tables and seating charts will reflect same households as much as possible. Food will be buffet style, and the servers will be serving the food.
We are requesting guests wear masks when inside the church during the ceremony, and when in line for food and when going to the restroom at the reception venue. Feel free to wear a mask at any other point during the event, but that will be up to you!
