What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes before the start time of 5:00 PM to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes; parking is available outside of the Chapel. A golf cart is available to shuttle guests with mobility needs from the parking lot to the ceremony space. If you require accessible parking or the shuttle, please indicate this on your RSVP or contact us directly so we can accommodate you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we'd love for guests to join us in semi-formal attire. Gentlemen, please feel free to wear a suit, blazer, or dress shirt with dress pants. What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Our colors are sage green, dusty blue, navy blue, white, and ivory. If you don't want to match the wedding party, please avoid wearing these colors.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Guests are welcome to bring a plus-one if a guest is listed on your invitation. Please refer to your invitation details when responding to the RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, this will primarily be an adults only occasion, as we have chosen to only include children who are a part of the wedding ceremony. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a date night and we appreciate you making prior arrangements.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Although we are getting married at a botanical garden, both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors. We encourage guests to explore Powell Garden's grounds while they are here.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Guests are more than welcome (and encouraged) to take photos during the reception!
