While living in Augusta, Megan picked up a couple of stray dogs off of the street. She easily found a home for one of the two, but had a more difficult time finding a home for the second, an adorable pup she called "boy." One night she convinced a friend (shout out Josh Boese!) to tag-along to a local bar, Metro, so that she could attempt to find "boy" a home. On that same night, Adam and a group of friends went, along with Ruby, his family's Boston Terrier, to Metro. While Adam was away from the table, his friends were approached by Megan, who was attempting to find out if Ruby was interested in a brother. After being told that Ruby's owner wasn't at the table, Megan, "the Dog Ninja" disappeared. Several minutes later, while Megan was walking past Adam's table, one of his friends called for her attention, and introduced her to Ruby's owner (thank you, Idral). She sat down with Adam and began talking to him. About "boy," about Ruby, about her own dog, Piper, about school, life, and family. Adam and Megan exchanged numbers and made plans to introduce Ruby and "boy." The dogs hit it off, and it seemed as if Megan had been successful at finding a new home for "boy," who got a new name: Munson. In no time at all, Adam and Megan began dating. And the rest is history . . .
