2020 was a rocky year for everyone. Megan had to move out of the dorms in Lubbock due to the lockdown. She moved back to her parents' home in Conroe to finish her masters degree and wait out the Covid regulations. Korey was also building his life in Conroe, taking care of his mother and moving up at work. They both felt a draw for companionship that led them to Facebook Dating (cringe ik). They matched and went on their first date at Longhorn Steakhouse in November of 2020. They instantly felt a connection that kept pulling them closer together. They spent every weekend together until they eventually moved into their Spring apartment in March of 2022. This is where their love grew! They spent their free time together playing Pokémon Go, going to farmers markets and local parks, and trying new restaurants. They learned how to live together, compromise, and overcome challenges together. Through career changes, adopting their first puppy Miso, and discovering their pickleball addiction, it became increasingly obvious that they were both in it for the long haul. On Thanksgiving day of 2024, in front of their loved ones, Korey got down on one knee and popped the BIG question! And now, Megan and Korey are ready to take the next big step in their relationship: Getting hitched! They are so excited for you all to join them! Although life throws us in unforeseen directions, Megan and Korey's paths would have never crossed if Covid never existed ... There's the one good thing that happened in 2020!
